A hill I will die on… The fastest way to generating more sales for your online course is to focus on the foundations of your business and marketing. It will take time, but it will be MUCH faster than throwing spaghetti at the wall or falling for the ‘hacks’ that people promote. The truth is that there is NO quick fix when it comes to business and the sooner you realize that the sooner you’ll save yourself a ton of money and a lot of headaches. I want to share with you what it looks like when someone chases quick fixes because we don’t always realize we’re doing it: 🙋🏻‍♀️ You’re always testing new strategies and giving up on then when they don’t work in the first few months. 🙋🏻‍♀️ You’d rather build something new than put more time and effort into something you’ve already created. 🙋🏻‍♀️ You’re consistently investing in a new strategy without giving it 100% and then are disappointed you didn’t get a good ROI. 🙋🏻‍♀️You let others convince you they know something you don’t and in order to achieve what you want, you need to invest in their strategy. …if you’re guilty of one or all of these, don’t worry almost all business owners have been there, myself included! What you need to do is recognize this and make a change. Here’s what it looks like when you’re building a business that’ll be successful for the long term: 📈You strategically plan and stay focused on what you said you were going to prioritize. 📈 You work to make what you’ve created the absolute best it can be, which include the product but also the systems you have surrounding it. 📈 You know that there are ups and downs in business and if things are down you don’t throw in the towel, instead you get more dedicated and focus on what’s not working and how you can improve it. 📈 You trust in yourself and your business and know that it’s not about having all the answers but making strategic decisions and putting one foot in front of the other to follow through & achieve your goals. Is it really that easy to improve your sales over 400%? Yesterday, I ranted about people not wanting to optimize their funnel but I am SO proud of my clients for optimizing based on our recommendations. It’s already made a HUGE difference 📈 They could have EASILY blamed the issues on the ads or decided their product wasn’t working anymore but they literally said “tell us what we need to do and we’ll do it”…and they did, quickly! Here’s a breakdown of what happened 👉🏼 They weren’t getting the results they wanted so we’ve been looking at data super closely (we’ve been tracking & reporting on their funnel for a while.) We noticed people weren’t showing up to the webinar, weren’t staying that long even if they did, & obviously weren’t buying. We recommended a number of changes to them that included: Getting people on the webinar…
✅ Increasing the number of notifications to join the webinar ✅ Improving the notification messaging to get people excited & to show up (EVERY little step in your funnel needs to be focused on conversion, think of it as a hundred micro conversions) Getting people to stay & buy:
✅ We know that most people like shorter webinars today so we made sure they dove into content asap vs. chatting and giving lots of background info ✅ In the old webinar they talked about their product a lot and this time we had them focus more on all the value people would get in the webinar alone + had them offer a freebie at the end ✅ The content in general was fluffy before, but in the new webinar they walk the audience through action steps they can take right away to move forward, they proved they can help the audience by actually helping them! [There were more but that’s the main gist of what shifted things] These changes caused them to go from 2 sales in 2 weeks to 11 sales in 11 days 🤯 THIS is what growing your course sales looks like in action. There is work involved in getting to where you want to go but when you do the work, you reap the benefits! So many course creators throw away product funnels

So many course creators throw away product funnels because they don’t want to optimize them 😭 But little do they know, our MOST SUCCESSFUL clients are those that focus heavily on optimizing. I have one client that’s made multi-millions from just ONE course because she optimized every single piece of it & continues to do so today (we’ve worked together for over 4 years!) As entrepreneurs with a lot of ideas it can feel WAY more exciting to create something new, but this will cost you more time and money in the long run 💸 I’m not saying you should never create anything new. And I get we are all SO busy trying to hold down a personal life and run our businesses, it seems like the To Do list never ends. BUT, your funnel should be your top priority if it’s driving people to your business daily and generating a good portion of your revenue (or you want it to.) The hard truth is that when you create a product, despite all the work it takes to complete it, it’s just the beginning. Even if you’ve had your course for a couple of years now, you’re still in the early phases of it’s life! The most strategic thing you can do is to stay focused on making the most out of the work, time, & money you’ve already invested. This looks like: 👉🏼 Tracking your funnel. The bigger you are the more often you should do this & if you’re running ads I recommend at least bi-weekly. You have to do this so you can see patterns…I wish I could scream this from the rooftops, every course creator MUST do this! 👉🏼 Analyze your data. When you make your reports, look at the numbers & see if results have gone up or down. If so, what might have caused that? 👉🏼 Take action based on your data. No more decisions based on feelings. Look at what the data is telling you & track the tests you make to see if they improve results.
