1️⃣ It delivers a poignant message right when it counts – it tells the audience that it sees their journey so clearly⁠

2️⃣ It reduces the focus from multiple questions (alllll the FAQ’s) to just 1 question, with 1 decision attached: Do I join the course, yes or no? ⁠

As the audience considers the yes, we throw in one more reason for them to step forward: the discount. ⁠

They’re already primed to positively consider the course, so when we offer the discount, it really sweetens the deal. ⁠

Today we’re going to talk about why it’s SO IMPORTANT to avoid using language that is not true or, as we here at EHM like to say...to cut the b*llshit. 🙊🤷👊🏼⁠

That’s right, we said it. Lots of people think that by exaggerating the truth, their ads will stand out but that’s not what works. Customers today have been burned 💥 so many times by marketers that exaggerate that they have learned how to spot them from a mile away! 👁⁠

And after spending millions in advertising on the Facebook platform, we know that being authentic is what drives business growth. 🙌🏼⁠

Even if you happen to snag a customer once with your exaggerations, as soon as they realize the truth about what you’re selling, not only will they certainly not become a repeat customer, they might instead become a bad review or bad word of mouth advertising! 😡 😬⁠

So, Facebook shut down your ad? I know, it's way more than irritating. Take a moment to feel your feels (#rage), and then get down to problem-solving. ⁠⁠

If you're being harassed by FB police 🚔 (oops, I mean policy 😉), it's probably for one of these three reasons:⁠⁠
⁠⁠
❌ Reason 1: Something in your copy was flagged. ⁠⁠
Facebook has extensive and specific guidelines when it comes to what you can and cannot say in your ads. Some content is prohibited (sensational content, profanity, MLMs, personal attributes) and other content is restricted (subscription services, financial products & services, branded content). There are lots of nuances so it's likely if your ad is rejected you've said something you shouldn't. ⁠⁠
⁠⁠
❌ Reason 2: Facebook flagged your visual⁠⁠
Like copy, there are certain guidelines and restrictions in place for what a visual can or can't have. You can't have non-existent functionality in your visual (like a play button that doesn't actually work) and you cannot change FB & IG platforms or branding. ⁠⁠
⁠⁠
❌ Reason 3: Your landing page triggered policy⁠⁠
You have to have a landing page experience that makes sense based on the ad you're running, you can't 'fool' someone into clicking on something that appears to be one thing and then have a completely different experience on the landing page (aka clickbait!) You also have to ensure you have a privacy policy and meet other legal regulations like GDPR. ⁠⁠

The important thing to remember if this happens to you is that there are usually clues coming from FB's ad rejection notice that will let you know what needs to be adjusted. ⁠⁠
⁠⁠
Check out the error message, read the details of the policy violation, & make adjustments before requesting a 2nd review from FB.⁠⁠
